Jacob (great name!!), very nice vlog. I'd have to agree that the best way to stop worrying is to maintain a sense of optimism at all times. Like you said, we can't really stop worrying, but if we can breed positive thoughts and energy to overcome the fear and anxiety, we would pass troubled waters faster.

  4. I have found that worry is a sort of vacuum. It pulls you in and it can seem impossible to break free. I now know how to hit the off button in my own life. But, it's not that easy when you're whirling around inside the 'Hoover!" It would be interesting to see more about how to INTENTIONALLY break free from the worry cyclone.

Gotcha' dude and i feel similar. On the special occasion when i notice my mind start to take a turn to negative town, it's usually because i haven't been consistent on my fundamentals: meditation, exercising, nutrition, etc… It's helped me to be conscious of that and know that "now" is not the time to be thinking about those topics. I'm better off waiting until my mind is in a good place to assess the situation.

Will keep in mind any tricks i come across in the future…

    Jacob,
I ditto Jimmy's comments. I think he hit the nail on the head.I will tell you what helps me worry less.

Hopefully I do not scare you or some of your followers but I worry less by relying on my spiritual belief that God will provide as he tells us in his word not to worry because he will in essence take care of us just as he provides for the birdies and the lilies in the field. There's a lot of other stuff about worrying but I'm not gonna preach & I'm not going to say that I do not worry – cause I do.

I can tell you that when I take the approach of believing that everything will be OK, then things work out and I am less stressed.

Hey mate, the tough one for me is finding passion. A lot of people talk about following your passion and all of that, but it can be really tough to work out what that is. Do you think everyone has a passion (and how do you find it) or some are some people born without that extreme emotion?

    • Jacob_Sokol says:

Interesting Patrick. Some questions that helped me where:

-What excites you and makes you come alive when you do it?
-If you had all the time and all the money in the world, what would you do?

I know first handed that i was closed down emotionally for a long time, but in the last year, i softened up a lot started to express myself emotionally as well.

Have you took a look at the posting about finding your purpose: http://www.sensophy.com/what-is-my-purpose-in-lif

Looking fwd to exploring this more in the upcoming months!
