What’s one piece of wisdom that if you started applying today, your life would be better because you did so?
I’m looking forward to learning from ya!
On purpose,

Geez Jacob…get out of my head. I do this all the time…trying to find 'something'. Last night I stepped away and sat out in my back yard, watching a mama bird keep her eye on me, and her nest full of eggs. I stayed until she was quiet and comfortable, knowing I had so much in common with her. I was quiet and at peace.
So…one piece of inspiration.
I am ok.
Too simple. Naw. I have been bombarded my entire life with people telling me I am not good enough. I am most at peace when I realize that I am ok, just exactly as I am. Flaws and all…

Ah Jacob love your Smile, your enthusiasm, your sharing, you. I guess for me to keep this short too I would say that 'the magic is inside, it's in all of us' Like one of your recent posts on F.B. from Carl Jung to '…look within…instead of looking outside…..' Nuff said. x

Heeeyyy Jacob,
Interaction with real people….what a concept! ha ha ha……I work alone, I live alone, and it is really important to engage with others, in person, in a meaningful way!
LAUGHING is always good for my soul, I try to laugh when ever possible.
Yesterday I just sat around for a few hours talking with my meditation group. The conclusion was, after analyzing a Greek writing on "BEING" (and laughing a lot while doing it)…..is to just BE! But be CONSCIOUS OF "BEING"…… that's it, that's all….just open your HEART up to being and connecting with all that is and bliss follows.

Sometimes I feel I have to step away from the blog-world because it just completely overwhelms me. I find that if you get caught up seeking information, spending the whole day reading on "how to" blog, or the "best ways" to get your life together, you just get overwhelmed/depressed/scared and don't act…other times it's a crutch. Why would you trust yourself to move forward if you haven't "learned it all" yet?

Hey Jakob, a great, refreshing video there. My great fear when I'm older is that I'll become senile and forget what it's like to be me, I realised though that I have actually forgotten nearly everything that I've experienced, so it's only the important stuff that I'm scared of losing. The next step is to gather and record the important stuff so if you do forget it, it can be found somewhere safe and your loved ones will know what mattered to you.

Sorry again Jacob, I think I even sent you a tweet with your name spelled wrong when you asked me for my thoughts on Philosopher's Notes (in a word, essential). Feel free to call me Patric or Patty or the trickster…

That's a great piece of advice in an age where there is an overwhelming amount of information. Thanks for the reality check!

Spending the night in a tent at an homeless awareness event — my 17 year old daughter is coordinating. I'm looking forward to spending the time with people…….awesome people, by the fire, chatting! Thank you Jacob for this great post.
