This video is perfect, I'm bookmarking because I totally get stuck in that trap, I want to be fulfilled, but will have to walk away from my comfy life in order to do it. Thanks for this.

Great post brotha.
If you haven't already, you should check out the book Rework by the guys from 37 Signals. I think you would find a lot of common ground with what these dudes preach about new school business philosophy.
Quick read with lots of pictures. Maybe 2 hours total.
Party.

I loved and totally resonated with this post.
And it was perfect timing for me this morning, because I am at a "walking away" moment and loved the reminder. In this case, I'm walking away from a potential client who's not really a match.
In prior times, it's been walking away from a job or an opportunity that didn't match.
I've got two ways I think about this – one, is that my way of thinking about your "success guilt" is as a "Gilded Cage" – the thing that's just too cushy, soft, comfy, cool, to walk away from – and yet if you don't you're in a cage.
The metaphor I love the very best, though, as a way to get the hell OUT of that cage (Which in my experience is the hardest part of making change – letting go of what came before) is of throwing your heart over the jump. They say on a hunter/jumper course, when a rider is faced with a jump that is right at the extreme of the horse's ability, what makes the difference in whether or not the horse will go or balk is the rider.
When the rider throws her heart over the jump, the horse will follow.
