Wisdom For Extraordinary Living

The Minimalists’ Approach to Living On Purpose

Back in the days of my brutal Balinese haircut, I sat down to kick it with Joshua Fields Millburn & Ryan Nicodemus, aka The Minimalists, to talk about their approach to Living On Purpose.

Our chat coincidentally came on the brink of their new book’s release: Minimalism: Live a Meaningful Life. Pull up a yoga-mat and get your coconut-water ready, these dudes are about to stretch your sense of what’s possible. :)

On Purpose,
Jacob

I loved that you brought up the research information from the Harvard professor on how our society (the large majority of it) really put the whole equation of happiness completely backwards…having what has come to be known & accepted as success does not mean that someone will also be happy. The whole idea of success should be rewritten and bring awareness to people that finding what truly makes them happy (physically, mentally, & emotionally) is what will bring success (in the truest sense of the word) into their lives…and it won't just be success for them, but for everyone around them & ultimately the world.
