This Is Not A Blog Post… It’s A Chance to Express Yourself Authentically!

Express Yourself Authentically
Hey Homey!

This isn’t like most posts that i publish on Sensophy. Naaaaaa, this one’s different. I didn’t write this days in advance and i’m not looking for it to be shared with 17 social networks in northern Nigeria. Nope. This one is live, on the spot, freestyled and wild – straight from me to you.

You ready?

Dope. Let’s start this whole shebang off with something i feel called to share witcha… You may have heard it from me before but i don’t want you to brush it off as a bunch of batshit (aka guano!) It’s important to me that you really accept what I’m about to say. Simply said…

THANK YOU! Really, thank you. Wait, wait, one more time… Yeah, there it is, here is comes, thank you!!

Amongst others, an intention interwoven into Sensophy from day one was for me to do what most excites me. But here’s something that i want to be clearly understood. It wouldn’t be nearly as fulfilling without having you to share the experience with (think masturbation vs tantric-love-making.) So straight up, no marketing gimmicks, no search engine optimization, no “split-test conversion” statistics… Just my highest self, the core of my being, the depth of my soul, saying “i digs ya… you my homey… now let’s hug it out!”

Okay okay okay…

Moving forward while walking sideways.

You may have noticed some oddball occurrences here on Sensophy lately. Strange shit is happening. Posts are not being published at the usual Monday and Thursday morning slots. We’ve had a couple of special guest authors who i invited to share their wisdom here. And yeah, you know, I’m still me which means a first class ticket to a nonstop freak-show. Well here’s what i wanna do…

I’m going to lift up the curtain and invite you backstage!

No those aren’t empty 40 ounce bottles of Steel Reserve, there aren’t half cracked guitars laying on the ground, and all the bra’s dangling from the chandelier have since been removed. You’re most likely looking at my morning mediation pillow, some dirty dishes from the green drink i just drank, and a journal for jotting down the daily dosage of Jacob’s mind-droppings.

But behind all of that, there’s the BIG NEWS. It’s what’s begging to be shared…

Here goes: The podcast is coming!!! Oh yes. And it’ll be here soon, like less than a month soon. I know you’ve been hearing about it for a while and well, that’s because I’ve been working on it for a while. This will be the first ever premium product specially made and completely tailored to Sensophizers.

“What the hell does that mean?”

I’m glad you asked.

Twice a month, i plan on interviewing people i admire – people who are “experts, gurus, masters, ninjas, daredevils, connoisseurs, hot-shots, bad-asses, good-guys, freak-shows” and more – to find out how they can help you live more extraordinary lives. For a small subscription fee, you’ll become a premium Sensophy member get access to the chats which i plan to make available in video, audio, and text format.

Here’s why I’m really excited about this.

I want YOU to tell me what questions you want answered! This way I’m not guessing about what will most serve you, but you can actually tell me. To start things off, i created a quick ANONYMOUS survey for you to fill out to give me a better understanding about how i can help you. It would mean the world to me if you took less than two minutes to fill it out. Please do that now by clicking the below link:

Okay, since you’re already backstage, I’ll continue to give you the tour. Change is inevitable, in our lives and in our blogs, and well, I’m feeling like a change needs to come for Sensophy. Next month will mark the one year anniversary and as a gift to my dear darling, I’m going to send her to the spa for the make-over she’s been hinting to me about (aka new design coming!)

Oh yes. That’s right.

But I’m bringing in some help.

While it’s been wonderful learning about how to run a blog (and by run, i mean not into the ground), and i really do dig the digital reality, i recently refined my clarity on how i want to spend my time. The answer is… doing less technical stuff. I created Sensophy because I’m so passionate about living a life of conscious evolution. A life that’s exciting, intriguing, adventurous, expanding… but what I’ve noticed in the last couple of months is that I’ve become so obsessed with creating the conditions for Sensophy to succeed, that I’ve neglected some of the basic fundamentals which were the reason i created Sensophy to start with.

The solution, like life, is a work in progress…

What i plan on doing is removing myself from the majority of the technical side of Sensophy. I did some snooping and scouting and connected with a Sensophizer whose work I’m a big fan of. I offered him the opportunity to come on board and handle the tech stuff (which he is a madd-nun-chucking-ninja at!) Though none of this is absolute yet, the intention is to free up time so i can *live* a more inspired life and *create* more inspiring content for Sensophy.

And there’s more.

The book is still being worked on, only…

It looks like its evolving into more of a guide on helping people find and live their purpose. Bonkers! I’m stoked at the possibilities it will bring to people’s lives. It will be available later this summer!!

Back to the blog….

After publishing 92 quality posts on Sensophy, and keeping a consistent schedule, i can say that I’m ready to switch things up a bit. I want to focus on creating more MASSIVE posts which may result in less regularly scheduled posts. I plan to crank out things that will light a fire under your ass. So sometime in the next couple of weeks, i may switch the schedule up a bit… especially when the podcast comes out. Not to worry, I’ll still be super accessible by Facebook, Twitter, email, and phone.

And as for the “Taking It to the Streets” Post

This is one of the types of things i want to focus on with blog posts! I received a tremendous amount of support to move forward with the project and I’m stoked at what we’ll be able to accomplish. For now though, we’re going to wait until later in the summer to move forward with it.

So that’s the tour yo.

Exit on your left.

Go out, grab a bite to eat, strike up a conversation with a stranger, but you’re going to want to come back on Monday for the guest post that’s scheduled to be published. It blew me away when i first read it!

And in case you didn’t yet express your views on the upcoming podcast, please do so here:

Express Yourself Authentically!

Thanks so much!

On purpose,
Jacob
