Big idea #1: Testing vs. Trusting

We are often told to “trust our instincts” when it comes to making big decisions in our lives. The problem with this is that simply “trusting” can cause anxiety, when we feel like we are just leaving everything up to fate.

So try testing instead of just trusting. What does this mean? It means making real-life changes, implementing them and seeing the results of those actions. When you test out new action, you bring yourself to a new reality and making those steps forward can make all the difference for your journey.

Big idea #2: Receive, to Give

When we take short, shallow inhales, we can’t expect to then give a deep and fulfilling exhale. The same goes for giving and receiving. If we want to give ourselves fully into the world, we need to make sure we are caring for ourselves and opening ourselves to receiving abundance.

Giving and receiving is a flow just like the inhale and exhale of breath. It is impossible to give without receiving, and vica versa. So stop seeing receiving as selfish, and begin to see it as a way to fill your tank so you can give even more.

Big idea #3: Confusion Isn’t Bad

A lot of times, we think of confusion as a bad thing. When we feel confused, we think this is “wrong” so we feel negative, anxious, fearful.

But has there ever been a time where confusion has served you in some way? Does it ever open your mind, causing you to question your current reality? Has it ever been a catalyst for change, or opened up opportunities? Learn to see confusion as a window that leads to clarity, not as a mindstate to be avoided.
