Now, for this week’s big ideas…

Big Idea #1: Defining Success

Where are you getting your definition of success from? And where has that been lingering in the unconscious part of your mind?

Do you have the freedom to do what you want – or are you living your life according to some external marker of success?

Check in with yourself. What matters to you? What is your definition of success? Is it more money – or is it a new experience of life? Is it living with connection, in alignment with the things that matter for you?

So be careful about what you think will bring you happiness. It’s about connecting to the experience in this moment right now. Instead of projecting success or happiness into the future – what makes you happy right now?

Big Idea #2: Finding Balance Between Doing and Being

How do we set goals for ourselves and work towards them, while still enjoying the process?

One of the biggest challenges that comes up on the way to finding the balance between doing and being is “comparisitis.”

Social media paints an unrealistic image of success and where you think you “should be” at a certain point! We get a constant feed of everyone else’s lives – and it colors our view of our own life.

So we need to stop and say: am I setting goals out of a place of “not enough-ness?” Or am I setting goals because they are the true desire of my heart?

When we connect to ourselves and develop our gut and heart wisdom – this is when we’re able to navigate the world without being tossed around in feelings like lack of self-acceptance and comparisonitis.

Big Idea #3: Overcoming Expectations

Do you ever find yourself wondering if you’re making the progress that you “should” be making in your life?

Where is the expectation coming from that you have to make 6 figures doing what you love? And likewise, what if you feel inner peace and alignment, but don’t have a current plan to make 6 figures?

There is no such thing as perfect. If you are willing to be patient to grow your skills and capacity, it is inevitable that you will sustain yourself in the lifestyle you’re committed to.

Remember that everyone is on their own path – and that by staying focused and committed to your own, you will achieve the results you desire.

Let’s connect!
