Now, for this week’s big ideas…

Big Idea #1: Discipline

A good way to incorporate something into your life or change an aspect of it, is to create a system or a schedule. By scheduling time for something allows it to become a ritual. For example, if you schedule one hour a week to go over your finances, you’re creating a space for that new system.

Steve Chandler also has a system whenever he creates a new goal or project, he also simultaneously creates a new physical goal for himself. So, if you have a new business project you’re working on, you may also want to add in a walking goal each day, or a goal to hit the gym a certain amount of times a week. The discipline of doing whatever physical goal you set for yourself, will carry over in bringing your new project to life.

Big Idea #2: Being Kind Vs. Being Loving

There is a distinction between being kind and being loving. Being kind is usually doing what is polite. Being loving is what’s going to help someone most, and doing it from the goodness of your heart to make the biggest difference.

And it can often feel bold and confrontational to do that. But remember that being loving is often what will help them the most.

Big Idea #3: Going For The Nos

We often fear the “no.” But what if you went for what you actually want, instead of what you think you can have. If you shift your aim, and actually try to get the no, you’ll shoot for the bigger things, the things that seemed impossible.

Just the fact that you’re willing to ask is a win. It builds your muscle for asking for what you want instead of what you think you can have.

It’s not about the yes or the no, it’s about going after what you want. When you continue to show up in that manner, you’ll be amazed at some of the things you’ll get because of that.

Let’s connect!
