Now, for this week’s big ideas…

Big Idea #1: Our Weaknesses Become Our Strengths

Do you ever struggle when trying to put together your vision for your life?

Think about this: If you had all the time and money in the world, and if failure wasn’t possible… if you wouldn’t be judged, and other people’s opinions didn’t matter at all – how would you spend your time?

Another way to get clear on our larger vision and purpose is to look at the pain points in our life It’s the things we struggled most with in life, those things that were once weaknesses, that become our greatest strengths and contributions to the world. When we learn how to navigate these challenges, our purpose is often to help others overcome these same obstacles.

Here’s a litmus test to hold your vision up to: Does this matter enough to me, that I’d be willing to dedicate the next 10 years of my life working in this direction, in order to be successful at it? And remember that the specific ways that you express your purpose can change. It’s the big WHY that stays consistent – that will keep you motivated through it all.

Big Idea #2: Get into Momentum

Many people feel like they need to wait for clarity until they can take action. But this is totally backwards!! When we take action, THEN we get clarity! (and confidence, skills, etc!) Taking action also builds up momentum, and this is huge – because then we can see opportunities that we wouldn’t have seen if we were stuck in our head space, waiting to “figure it out” before taking action.

When you’re in movement, you will come up with ideas! You start to see things that you wouldn’t be aware of in a stationary mindset. When you get into momentum, anxiety goes away and you start to close the gap between what you’re capable of being and what you’re actually being. You start to get into integrity with your highest potential.

And remember: Inspiration is perishable: you need to use it when you feel it, or you lose it!

Big Idea #3: Trusting Yourself

So many times, we know what we need to do in life, but we have problems trusting ourselves. Society is telling us to be one way, while our souls are telling us something different. So as a result, this war is waged within us between what’s socially acceptable, and what’s “soufully acceptable.”

Even though all the doubt and mental back-and-forth, your gut is usually sending a clear message. This message is your truth, and when you speak your truth, you honor your deeper wisdom and your values. It can feel really scary to push past the fear of uncertainty or “what will they think of me”, but ultimately your soul needs you to express your truth and your life will flow with so much ease when you do!

Let’s connect!
