Now, for this week’s big ideas…

Big Idea #1: Experimenting in Life

Life is an experiment. When you try lots of different things, you can use the “data” that you receive to change things up and get different results moving forward.

Rather than making your results “mean” something about you, with your self-worth on the line – just view your actions and results as various experiments!

Some things will work, and some won’t work out so well! If your self-worth is tied to your results, you’ll never be able to take risks and try things that are edgy that aren’t guaranteed to work out!

So when it comes to business and life – how can you test your ideas and assumptions for as little time and money as possible?

Big Idea #2: Triggers + Shadow Projections

Let’s face it: triggers happen, and comparison mindset sometimes takes hold. Remember that it’s your job to take ownership of what you allow into your consciousness. You can acknowledge the comparison or trigger – and then ask yourself – how can I use this, rather than let this use me? What is this here to show me?

If you find yourself bothered or triggered by things in your world, ask yourself – what is it about this thing that bothers me? How do I wish things were different? And how can I bring this way of being into my life and work?

Whenever you find yourself pointing a finger at someone or something – ask yourself, “how am I that?” Look at how that finger is pointing back at yourself. This is shadow projection. We don’t see the world the way it is – we see the world as we are.

Rather than self-improvement… what if we really need is self-acceptance? If we can get to a place where we feel perfect as we are – then we realize that we don’t need to improve ourselves at all. Without self-acceptance, we can’t build what we want because we’re constantly looking for something outside of ourselves.

Big Idea #3: Allowing Your Story to Change

It can be tempting to want to have perfect clarity of our vision in life – but it’s so important to be able to flow and change as we develop. If your story doesn’t change along the way, then you weren’t listening closely enough!

We need to listen to life and the universe, to follow the signs and be flexible to go with the flow. If our initial plan doesn’t change as we go, then we’re probably not really listening closely to the signs!

We grow and evolve – and what we have to give to the world grows and evolves as well.

In every moment, you have the opportunity to choose how your narrative will go.

We can change our story by changing we lens that we look at life through. If you look at your life in a few years – is this a story that you feel inspired to live?
